Terms of Service for For Art’s Sake

Welcome to For Art’s Sake! By subscribing to For Art’s Sake (“the App”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Subscription Services

• Subscription Plans: The App offers subscription-based access to premium art history collections, guided tours, and curated learning paths. Plan details, pricing, and billing cycles are provided within the App.
• Payment: Payments are processed securely through the App Store’s in-app purchase system. By subscribing, you authorize the App Store to charge the specified fees to your account.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account settings.

3. Access and Use

• License: Upon successful subscription, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the premium features of the App.
• Restrictions: You agree not to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the App, except as explicitly permitted.

4. Content

• User Content: Any personalized study notes, saved collection lists, or other content you create within the App remain your intellectual property. By using the App, you grant Artisan Apps Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content as needed to provide the service.
• Intellectual Property: All other content, including text, graphics, logos, curated art assets, and software, is the property of Artisan Apps Studio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

5. Offline Access

The App is designed to function offline. Download the galleries, lessons, or references you need while connected to the internet to ensure uninterrupted access.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

• Refunds: Refunds are subject to the App Store’s refund policies. Please contact App Store support for assistance with refunds.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not refund previously paid fees.

7. Termination

Artisan Apps Studio reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Artisan Apps Studio does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the App’s content.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Artisan Apps Studio be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of London, United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting within the App. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
